Hi guys bit new to all this but would love some help please. My issue is that I have recently brought Juwel Lido 200 and love it. Currently just going through cycle for first time without no fish. Done all the normal cleaning etc. Been running for about 5 weeks now. My issue is that every few days I lift the two lids to check on water and making sure all is fine. I have started to notice a large amount of water condensation on the underside of the lids. The lids are drenched with water and large drips Is this normal. I have no leaks. Lights on 5 hours a day at night and on a solid floor so all level. Water levels do go down slightly. Is this something I need to worry about. Thanks

Cold water tanks dont do it quite as bad, it's the heater warming the water and causing evaporation. The lid traps it

It is pretty common, with all the condensation it is good to check under there once in awhile. I wipe my hood down every so often when doing water changes. You can have algae form under there.
