g'day everyone. just wondering if the hardness and softness levels are really that important.
is it a must to own the kits for it?
i was just wondering because i have had 3 fish die within the space of around 2 days. they were 1 male guppy 1 male sword and an albino corry.
the ammonia, nitrite levels were both at 0. im not sure about the nitrate levels due to me not owning a kit for it, but i have many live plants in the tank so i am guessing that it isnt all that high.

please help me

unlikley to be the water hardness. Often if fish are well acclimatised they are ok with a wide range of hardness or softness. The only time to worry is if it is an extreme either way.

You probably have an infection in the tank. possibly bacterial.
