So, I have a 55 gallon tank, as you may already know, and it has 1.6 WPG. I am aiming for around 30 ppm of Co2 with my newly setup Co2 injections system (which is awesome I might add).

I know the rule of thumb is, you don't really need Co2 unless you are over 2 WPG, so my question is, how will my plants be effected with the Co2 and not having 2 WPG? Should I do full EI, or just does macro and trace once or twice a week?

I have a Co2 diffuser (the glass one with the ceramic that forces the Co2 through small holes) that is directly below a powerhead. The Co2 bubbles go into the power head and shoot out across the tank. Do you think this is a good idea?

Thanks guys!

light controls the rate of photosynthesis.

More light = faster rate of photosynthesis = faster growth.

Still dose Full EI, as growth with CO2 increases 10-20x

and the CO2 diffusion method sounds good.
