Just Set Up A New Spawn

I decided a couple of days ago that i was going to set up a spawn and thanks to 5teady suppling me with more BBS eggs and more MW its all going ahead

The male is one i had on my site and is part of the sale that fell through with the salamander. was going to re sell him but he has sort of grown on me. The female is part of a pair i am looking after for Chrissy an Rix - they told me to spawn them and so decided to use the girl.

I put him in his tank last night to let him get used to it before i added the female and this morning i woke up to find this

me thinks he was a busy boy last night.

So any way, may i introduce you to my Blue Yellow HM

What a cute lil face he has. He was being noesy while i was takin a pic of my little DT and forgot he was eating (not sure what that white thing is on the tank)

and this is the female, she is a Green Gas HM - who has been distorted a bit by the glass

and a couple of others

Quite excited about this spawn as the colours are amazing and should have quite a nice effect on each other. I was thining of setting up the Green Gas male with the Blue Yellow female and seein what outcome i got from both.....see if the female is the more dominant when breeding same tails. Any ways hope yo like the pics

Yea he was being too noesy to remember to eat

I am hoping to get MG from these 2 as i have never had a MGHM and its my all time fave betta. Sadly neather are classed as MG as one is too green and the other too blue but i should get a quater or a third showing both colour traits.

Ok so the female was really nicely barred up tonight so i let her out she swam right over to the nest and got in position...he ran away!!

So after he got brave they both started adding the the bubble nest, it was so cute. I did go to get my cam to video it but when i can back they had stopped.

I watched them for a while and he did the funniest thing, she swam up to him an he shot off behind the bogwood then all of a sudden he poped up like a jack in the box flaring his butt off, silly boy.

Any way after all the cuteness of it he has turned into the typical male betta and chased her around the tank, she is now tucked away in some jave moss.

just have to wait see what tomorrow brings

Sounds exactly the same as what my 2 did yesterday and then they started spawning around 10.00 this morning. Fingers crossed for you
