Just Run Out Of Co2

hi, when i got home tonight i realised that the co2 wasn't running, its run out and because its easter weekend i won't be able to get another one mail ordered until monday which means it won't arrive until at least wednesday, this is my first high tech aquascape so i'm a little worried that my plants will die, has anybody got any advice on what i can do to tide the tank over until next week? Should i reduce ferts or lighting? I have a little bit of easy carbo left so i will use that but any more help would be appreciated.


EDIT: Another quick question, i have a dennerle co2 system, i can use any co2 bottle with the dennerle regulator yes? or does it have to be another dennerle disposable canister?

Decrease the amount of lighting. Dose the Easycarbo at 1ml per 20ml. Keep the nutrients the same, or only very slightly reduce them.

yeh i thought as much, the lights are on for 7.5 hours a day at the mo, so do you think 5 hours should be ok?

hmm... a few days without Co2 should not really affect you plants that badly... I would not be tooo freaked out by it... just bring the lights back a little bit...

Get a disposable cannister from Halfords. 600g for £17 is steep but it should fit.
