well i just been on Amazon.com and treated myself to 2 new books and saved 60% off RRP. I thought seen as i was re-design my new aquarium, i felt that i need some inspiration in the thought of aquascaping so i bagged myself the "Aquarium Design"
Matthew Christian; Hardcover; £11.89
and the Book "Complete Dummies Guide to setting up an Aquarium" i'm sure these will have me dreaming and make good bedtime reading!!!
Yep the library saves money but I purchased from Amazon .. B)
"Handbook of Fish Diseases" by Dieter Untergasser ....
Great book if you want to be a fish doctor !! ... has quite a few flowcharts for determining what is wrong with your fish ... but you will need to get a microscope to use the book to it's fullest.
If you want a good aquascaping book consider something by Takashi Amano. If you're growing plants then you should consider Ecology of The Planted Aquarium by Diana Walstad.
Thx for the advice i may get that at another time when i get paid next. Mohave kid i used to have that book but i sold it on through ebay as i found it difficult to use but very good if you wanna be a fish doctor.
The best disease book i have ever bought is "A-Z of Tropical Fish" Diseases and Health Problems. I call it my big fat red book!!!!!!
I got "The Aquarium fish Handbook" from the library. Got quite a few common species of fish in it, fairly good info, and I suprised myself by naming all the species on the cover. Am I sad or educated....? No one knows. Its one of lifes great mysteries, up there with the likes of, is Elvis alive and is Michael Jackson black or white, man or woman....
Forgive my rambling, I am bored to tears.
