Just Ordered New Seashell Aquarium

Finally managed to get hubby to agree to us having one of the new Seashell Aquariums.....Yayyyy!!!!!
Can`t wait to see my fish in there, I feel like a kid whose Christmas` and Birthdays have come all at once


I currently have a 180ltr Aquapet tank and matching cabinet in beech and wondered how much roughly I`d be able to get for selling it? It`s in really good condition but I`m not sure how much to ask for it. All ideas (sensible) would be great if poss please. I do have lots of spares and extras I could sell with the tank so it could go as a complete setup.

I would put it in the classified section on the forum before listing it on ebay but would really appreciate your thoughts first.

they are really nice aquariums, really well made and worth the money IMO. I like the one with the wine rack.

We loved the one with the wine rack too but as neither of us drink the rack would be redundant, unless we filled it with bottles of Schloer or Coca-Cola instead

I`ve had my eye on the Seashell tanks for a little while, they are lovely and like you I also think they`re well made and definitely worth the money. Not only do you get a lovely tank but the furniture aspect is great too.

It certainly isn`t cheap but we fully intend that due to the quality of the whole thing it`s going to last for some years. Plus the fact the unit is a really nice piece of furniture that matches with the rest of our living room.

Where abouts are you fluffy? I guess a fair way from Dorset?

As soon as the new one arrives and it`s been checked over I`ll be advertising my current tank, been browsing second hand prices for similar tanks and think that £150.00 is a reasonable price to ask and I also have a fair few spares to go with it i.e spare hood with lighting unit in it, ornaments and heater that I`ll be happy to include. Hopefully it`ll enable someone to have basically a full setup. Already have a couple of friends who are interested but we`ll see.

Waiting for the phone call to tell me the new tank is on it`s way is like waiting for Christmas!

Wow I'd love a 180 litre. That seems huge to me(mine's 60l)! But A)you live miles from me and B) I don't know if I could have one upstairs what with the weight?
