Just Got Another Tank . How Many Neons Will Fit?

Hi there
just purchased another tank second hand from ebay for the kids - they'll have 2 then
It's a 55 litre hexagon 16" wideand 16" deep it will be over filtered as are some of my other tanks
It will either house neons or endlers and some shrimp
does anyone know how many neons or endlers would be happy in this sort of tank

I would say a dozen would be a safe amount to have.


Theoretically, you could have more, but I wouldn't recommend it as you don't get the free swim space in a hex that you would in a normal rectangular tank.
