I was testing the water and had left a test to change colour on a towel in front of the tank. When I came back to it the towel was wet through, the water level had dropped and I could see water spreading in a pool around the bottom of the tank
Panic!
I started to empty the tank wondering what the hell I was going to do with my mid cycle bacteria if it had a leak. I took the filter baskets out and put them in the bucket with the water and took the tank to the kitchen to have a good look at it. No cracks at all and it wasn't leaking onto the kitchen worktop
It took me a while to realise what I'd done. When I lift the lid, condensation runs down the back of the unit the tank is sat on, so I wrap a little cloth around the base of the lid. I think this must've hung in the water and capilliaried the water out
What a fool!
Tank is now refilled and no signs of any leaks-just have to do my tests again!
