Just A Few Questions.

I am kinda new to having fish as a hobby. My 20 gallon tropical fish tank that is all stable and cycled, I just have a few questions.
1)I have 3 Black Skirt Tetra, what would be a good fish to add next? How many?
2) Are crabs ok to add in the tank as well? If so what kind and how many?
3) What would be a good algae eater fish? Don't want to big or aggressive.
I am kinda new so any other advice would be helpful.

1: you can add more tetra's if you like, there's lots of speices to choose from.

Welcome to the forum lcplmouw.
In a nice moderately small tank like that, my first choice would be to fill out the group of tetras that you already have. I would think 5 or 6 would work better than just 3. A nice addition for the bottom and middle areas of the tank would be some of the smaller Corydoras. In groups of 5 or more they are very playful fish to watch.

Crabs are a poor choice in a fish tank. Crabs eat fish and they can catch them. If you want crabs, get a separate tank for them and feed them what you want them to eat.

There are lots of good algae eaters but many of them require algae to be present or they die of starvation. Some of the smaller plecs, like the bristlenose, do indeed eat algae and can also be fed algae wafers. Otocinclus are great at eating algae but are not very good at eating man-made foods. I try to keep the numbers of them very small and still end up losing them after a few months when all the algae of the type they actually eat, is gone from all of my tanks. I have quit bringing them home because I do not want any fish that are only looked after temporarily.

yes tetras are a good choice and you can mix and match if you keep them the same size,
