So I did a 40/45% water change on the 13th, a 10% on the 15th and a 20/25% change today. I lost my female angel today as well before I did the water change. I retested my levels (right after the water change, probably should have done them before, not sure if they're still as accurate).
High pH: 8.8 (again, does this make a difference if I tested it right after a water change?)
Ammonia: Between 0-0.25
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: Between 40-80.
I'm working on bringing my Ammonia and Nitrate down still with daily water changes ranging between 10%-25%. However, I'm still confused as to why I'm losing fish, and why my pH shot up. Thanks guys!
