Thanks ....hey don't tell anybody but I havn't given up on this forum ( you know what I mean :shifty: )

that's a female gourami in the background isn't it. I love those little guys. Have you gotten the male to spit at you yet?

Nice looking fish, btw its not a flying fox but a true SAE.

Hi, so are you saying it's name is SAE (siemese algae eater?)??? So what is a flying fox? (No funnies please you other people!)The LFS said it was a flying fox so have they misinformed me.......AGAIN? :shout:

 no not yet but he is a hell of a noisy (sucking) eater! Yes it is (one of) his females. Tried that on the wife (ie 1 male to 2 female ratio) NOT impressed!

WOW! Fantastic photos! Your water looks so clear it looks like there isnt any!

Still trial and error on the photo quality thing. Hope to take some serious ones later. Good filtration after much tinkering my friend, thank you for noticing (especially for a 'newbie' see the water first, fish second )

Flying foxes are similar but trust me your much better off with the SAE as they are not really aggressive like the flying fox.

This is a flying fox.
