there not blind so they must see smaller filters with the same outputs so they must have a reason for making theres so big.

I cleaned one of the blue spinges last night and cleaned the casing. Flow is good for the moment but I can't really tell as it has been taking a coupel of days for the flow to dip.

does anyone actually kno why jewel filters are so big?


they could jus do a nice lil internal filter but no, they have a shoe box in the corner of there tanks.

The thermostat heater goes in the box too, so maybe that's why they're so big?
