Jewel Cichlids

i bought two jewel cichlids from a private breeder these are a breeding pair. i asked on what they eat and didnt get much info from him all he said is that they east anything i give them flake food blood worm and brine shrimp i was wondering if there is anything else they eat and is this food good for them any help please as i like these new comers to my tank

i have 1 and he does fine on good flakes,frozen blood worms and pellets ect. dont wanna buy a jaguar and large silver shark to go with them do you?

I feed mine whitebait as well and on occasion some beefheart, but mainly hikari bloodworms and pellets.

my breeding pair of juwels eat ANYTHING there good fish no problems with them ive ever had.

mine also eat anything.bloodworm,spirilina,frozen cichlid mix,cichlid sticks etc etc.
