I'm afraid i can't answer your question but just be aware that many fish labled jellybean parrot fish have actually been dyed to give them more/differant colours.

It should be ok as parrot fish are not that aggressive but can be aggressive as its a cichlid - probably get better answers posting in the new world cichlid section, but to answer your question - Ive done it before with no problems.
