I have just bought a JBL profi 2 Co2 system for my planted tank ( a journal to come ) :shifty: anyways, it has the solonoid valve on it to knock the co2 off during the night, but the plug socket for it, is a differnet socket, now i have the adaptor, but its a big beast of a plug and with the adaptor which it does not fit into very nicely and therfore not a reliable connection, anyways, is there a way that i can take the solonod valve off so i can open and close the Co2 valve manually?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
Dan

I'm Guessing you mean like a 2 pin socket a shaver has? If this is the case why not just buy a shaver socket adapter, i don't think you can switch them over manually either.

Cheers Gordon.

thats what i have, but the socket is so heavy that the pins dont sit in the adaptor properly.
I need the socket ( which is huge) plugged into an adaptor, then the apaptor plugged into a timer. It looks absolutely hideous and id much prefer to do it manually.

A quick search on google for euro converter came up with this from Maplins changes it to a conventional 3 pin plug.

Cheers Gordon.

thank guys. Iv managed to get an extension, so its hidden nicely behind the tank now.
All is looking well,
Ill have to get some pics up.
Iv ordered 30 pots of echinodorus tennellus,
30 pots of " " magdalana
100 stalks cabomba auatica
