okay so i haven't seen anything bad about this product yet, so can anyone tell me why i should or shouldn't buy this as a substrate? how messy is it? how messy is it when capped? and what does it look like any pictures would be great :D, this is for an 88L heavily planted high tech tank new setup

i am not questioned to get Seachem Flourite Black Sand? aah so many to choose :p someone help me out please

I had a bit of bother with Aquabasis Plus, water stayed cloudy for a month or so before I got fed up and removed it all and threw it in the garden, I just replaced the lot with very fine gravel and used plant root tabs and everything is now fine.

ah thank you for that, i tried root tabs before with no luck :( i had Colombo Nutri Base that was capped with unipac sand in the picture in my sig altho the Colombo Nutri Base was only on the right hand side, and i had HUGE success with that but honestly want to avoide the capping part and just go with an all out substrate, but looking at my local LFS they had the Colombo Flora-Base Brown or this JBL stuff that i never seen before, so i thought il see what its like seeming its black and thats what i want.

I've used JBL, excellent plant growth. If you are a person who moves plants all the time then this is not the best product lol

ah thank you my old substrate was a pain for that as it naturally floated :(
