This stuff looks nice, really lush and easy for smaller fish to hide in. I cant find any at the local pet stores though, so I think they might order me some. How many of you guys are using this stuff? Is it easy to care for, and how fast does it grow?

I have it in most of my tanks. Has the potential to grow fast then again not so fast. Just depends on your tank. Very easy plant to have just make sure you fasten it down to something other wise it's a floating plant. Not fun to clean after.

Nylon fishing line tied around the object you want it on ie driftwood/rocks, after a while it will attach itself without the need for the fishing line.

Hope to help :)

that or staples. Yes there are people who staple it to wood. Karen Randal (plant guru and one of my idols) does this. Rose

hi there , i've got java moss in my tank, got it tied round stones, and
bog wood looks realy good, my dwarf frogs always hang out there,
they love getting right in the middle of it, with there little heads popping out,

Does the staples (iron? ) not contaminate the water at all?

According to Randall it doesn't. I'll see if I can find the article again. Rose

Is Java moss the stuff that grows in the bottom of lakes and has a kinda garlic nasty smell to it?

no that can't be java moss, theres no smell of garlic to it, ;)
