My local maidenhead sells it for £3.50 a pot and its easy to grow just add light and water and stand well back. :) It will attach to just about anything given time.

does it have to be tied or is it like some coral it will attach really easy??

It is easy to grow if it likes the conditions & I have it rampant in a couple of tanks. It will grow on just about anything - I even managed to get it to completely coat the Juwel backrounds of a Trigon 350.
It is great for fry hiding but it has one drawback IMO - Loose bits can clog the filter intake so you have to prune it back before you go on holiday as I've found through bitter experience.
I sell quite a lot but I won't post it through the winter - it dies if it gets chilled en route.

Quick Question: What is the full form of IMO, as i have seen it a lot. What does it mean. Im a newbie when it comes to plants. And i am also planning to get java moss so just wondering.

IMO I think it's crap.
I've got some in my tank and it just keeps sheding itself and looks horrible. I'm only keeping it in to eat all those nasty Nitrities etc.!

you need to look after it - leave it alone and it'll go wild.

keep it trimmed and tied in place and it looks great.

how do u keep it maintained

I had it tied to a bit of bogwood and pulled any loose strands off. It was in a well lit planted tank and it stayed nice and tight to the bog wood.
I've moved it to a lower light level tank and just left it alone (as the tank is big) its now trying to spread to get to the light and its gone wild :) :D

ok
diademhill can you tell me how much you sell it 4 i am interested at the rite price

There is someone on this forum who is giving away java moss. She's in Cali though, so it might not be worth it for you being in Canada. But anyway, her name on this forum is nino. Look her up and pm her. All you have to do is pay for shipping.
