Java Moss And Plastic Canvas? Now With Pics***

anybody had any experience with attaching java moss to plastic canvas?
i am thinking of trying it to create a wall of moss, do you think it will work

How are you going to secure it? As i've heard hair nets are suitable, and it grows over it, otherwise it would just fall off and drift around your tank.

Its a very interesting idea.....Ive been using thread to attach mine to bod wood and coconut shells but not sure if some kind of large stitching with black cotton thread would work but dont know if the canvas would be textured enough for it to attach (I work from home as a commission artist so Im thinking of the box canvas's I use but I assume you are just meaning a pre-stretched sheet) although there are different textures you can get apart from artist canvas.

It would be interesting to see if you get it to work......good luck.

no this is plastic canvas, it has lots of little holes all over it

I can PM you a picture of my latest painting and any others Ive got pictures of on my computer if you like, the website I had we closed down as most of my work now is corperate work (offices etc.)and word of mouth gets me most of my work, most of it now is not really the kind of work I like to do because they want modern pish like you see in IKEA and place which Im happy to do but I prefer doing my own painting aswell which I sell through contacts....I just e-mail people when Ive done something new and they can make offers.....its not a bad life.....I also maitain aquariums in alot of the businesses Ive worked for aswell so.

Im sorry this has nothing to do with fish but I can either e-mail them to you or I'll try to use that photo bucket thing.

I tried the photo bucket thing but its quicker to e-mail them directly....check your e-mail in about 5 mins.

Thats looking great.....Ive just bought £25 worth and will no doubt be going back for more.....its great stuff and at that price you cant go wrong.....I use loads of it and usually pay ALOT more than that.
