well i got the jaguar before red terror and the red devil,
but the jaguar lets anything bully it, my blue acara has ago at it.

is it too timid for the tank.

please reply ASAP :good:

What tank size have you got? with that stocking you are really only asking for trouble.

what size are they all?

that would also be my question what size tank is this that we are talking about here. I would say for all three it would have to be something gigantic to allow for not only size but agression

in other posts says the tank size it 250G.

but not sure what the LxWxH would be as it also says in this thread 5foot 250G? 5x2x2 is only 150G, very wide or deep.

With the Jags I have had I have found they dont live-up2 there rep, they are not as aggressive as things like you are mixing them with, THIS IS IMO from what I have seen in the 5+years of keeping/breeding Jags, also keeping red devil/midas and true red terrors < but saying that when talking about a breeding pair then your talking about non stop aggression/protecting.

I would say that is also my experience the only time my jags were agressive was when they had eggs other than that they were very easy to be pushed around that was also my experince with the mota that I had back in the day. over all my opinion of the Parachromis fish are less than impressed. I prefer my midas and Festae to the Parachromis, and one day if I do get a big enough tank I am going to invest in getting some umbie and hopefully get a big blue male out of them.
