Jager Heater

Hi guys, i am due for a new heater as mine is about to go... Just searching on eheim's site and saw the jager, did a bit of research and found that they were pretty reliable and all that.. Are they really that good? Is a Sera heater just as good?

Any other reccommendations that you can make?

While I can't really comment on the Sera, Jagers are phenomenal heaters.

It's ok, i went to my lfs and they said it would be ok. nevermind, thanks for the help anyway!

jagers, ive heard the ones made by eheim suck, maybe they changed it already, but when eheim bought out the old company ebo, it started to have flaws in it. i think the new visatherm stealth is the best heater out there now. i have one, the temperature never changes, and it turns off if the water level drops so i dont have to worry about it bursting if i forget to unplug it during water changes.

i use to have about 10 jagar heaters (from a fish house) kept 5 and am now using 3 of them

i have not had any problems with them at all and when i get my fish house i will be using them again
