This is the first of two that i am setting up, This is the 6gallon and the other is a 10.

I have afew rocks to play around with, think i need to spend more time with the rock formations.

Looks female to me ^^

If you add co2 and plant some HC cuba plants, you will get a lovely green lawn :good:
Also if you can find Riccia, you can tie it to the rocks, it will look very natural :good:

I have DIY co2, and i add liquid ferts. (removed for the picture) :)

I think the rock is a good choice. I di think the 2 rocks are very similar and they are place symetrical, which doesn't really fit 'Iwagumi'. Iwagumi also prides itself on being odd numbered. So, you'd need 3 rocks. If this was my tank, i would keep the rock on the right. The rock on the left i would probably take a hammer to. Make one medium sized rock, and 3 smaller rocks.

have a read of this

I was abit stuck on time, so i basically washed the rocks and put them in, and didnt really want to move the rocks about because i recently added the pygmi's.

So today i've added a 3rd rock, and changed one of the ones i had in already.

I'll post a pic or two in afew mins.

Sounds like a plan Ian, guppyman if you look at some of the pro's scapes you can see the effect is created by having lower rocks in smaller scapes to give the correct perspective, I'd smash the rock on the left, Ian's tank is spot on if you look at the formation of his.

Ok so had bit of time on my hands today so i had a play around with the tank....

i think its a big improvement. I've moved the mojority of the hairgrass to the back (probably buy some more in the next couple of days)

And i also had some time to have ago at the other tank. My idea for this one is to cover the substrate in HC and replace that horrible filter  and get a new tube, this one gives off a purple tinge :X

Tell me what you think, any feedback will be great.

It looked good before but looks great now! Once it all grows in with the carpet it'll look real niiccee. :good:

good looking cherry shrimp you got there too :p

Thanks carlovel.

I may get some small flat peices of slate and get some riccia to grow in the first tank.

We'll see how the funds go :sly:

Where do you get your rocks? The tank's really looking amazing now!
I live in the prairies in Canada, so I don't see many nice rocks around...
