They are putting themselves into one of my African tanks. In numbers.

I bought six and lost one, and have 2 males and 3 females in a high flow 4 foot 40. It's actually working. Males are very involved with the fry, and that pattern has held. The breeding pair are guarding beautifully, and I think there may be eggs from the second pair. The 3rd female keeps to herself up high in a stack of rocks, but she's unharmed and quite ready to lay eggs. She just hasn't convinced either of the males to be disloyal.

The non guarding male has a tiny, already healing wound on his mouth.

It's a very cryptic species - they hide a lot.
