Well after my pair of angelfish failed twice with eggs as they all went white and then they ate them, but have been breeding every 7-10days! This is the third time and the fry became free swimming yesterday, both parents been very protective and if i go near tank mother moves all the young away and dad comes to attack me lol!!!!! so all going well, will get some photos for you of them!! :hyper:

Wooo! I am getting all excited too. my kribs appear to have made some babies, need to wait another day before they become free swimming... I am dying of curiosity! Congrats!

I would say until the babies start venturing out on their own. Eventually the parents will start getting crowded by the babies and the babies will swim out and explore for themselves. then I would say you can move them

Congratulations rocknurworld2006, :good:

i would only leave the angel fry with there parents for a couple of days max i may be wrong as im not an expert but when mine use to breed after a couple of days of free swimming they would eat them all

i believe i am expecting japonica shrimp babies. but unless i can find somewhere for them to live soon i fear the sharks will just see them as tasty snacks
