Remember i said that i'll trade my red tail black shark? well guess what! i did and i traded him for 2 ballon molly and 1 platty! and i got 2 neon blue guppy a few week ago B)

and i have a question!

1. what is the lifespan of ballon mollie, guppies and platties!?

I did a little research cuz I was curious myself, and I found that Guppies live 2 to 3 years, Mollies 3 to 5, and Platies 3 - 5.

but it does matter on the quality of the life eg. food, water conditions, no stress

Ive had a couple of guppies live to be over 5 yrs!!! , they survived everything, we had an Ice storm about 6 yrs ago and didnt have any power for 1 week, so they had no air, I didnt know about the battery air pumps at the time, but they survive, and they didnt even get sick or stress!!! They have both been gone for about 1 yr now

The longest living fish i had was my pleco, he lived for a couple of years. But then about a week ago he (i hoped) just disapeared!!!
