sorry sat here thinking and remember a post about judges.
how do you become one, i know the post you had to assist 3 times at a show.
is this correct and also how to i become a judge in the U.K?

Well to become a proper IBC judge you need to complete an apprentiship which is hard as we live in the Uk but at our shows to begin with i should think that me and the other 4 comittee members will decide on one of us to be the judge!!!

Yeah, that was me. I was just hijacking your thread

But it is something to think about although it may require a few trips to the US to apprentice a couple of shows. By the way, anybody can become a certified judge provided they pass the course :thumbs:

First you'll need to join the IBC

When you get your packet you will receive a certified judges training sheet to send in if you're interested. It would be great to have at least three of you certified.

well to start with we know a judge in europe and we hope to persuade her to judge the IBC sanctioned shows as it will be very hard for us to go to USA to be trained however we will be looking into getting trained as judges in the future

ill come to Kansas and stay with you for three show yeeviabetta but I'm sure i have been certified anyway they keep taking me to this big house every weekend and i were a big white coat.......... :rofl:
