Thanks for posting this! As someone who has done research in photosynthesis, this was an incredible paper! I downloaded the original and read through it (kind of quickly for now, I'll admit). It's interesting that the predictions for blue and green are so spot on, but the ones for yellow/orange are routinely off by a little bit. I don't really have time, but I kind of want to download the code and see what might be causing that difference.

I'd also love to see how red and brown algal species shake out with this system and if it might account for the paucity of species in those lineages represented in FW habitats. Come to think of it the red algae we call BBA would be cool to see run through this as well...
