yes I have a group of rare goodeids to donate, i am also a member of the British livebearer Association, and the goodeid working group.

I'm a member and board member of Poecilia Netherlands. We also support a project in Morelia, Mexico. Main focus are goodeids. Captive bred specimens will be rereleased in their natural habitats. As you already know there are a number of goodeid species that are endangered in the wild.

Those are so beautiful! it's funny that I just checked up again on my mystery goodeid, which looks like one of them!

They’re not widely distributed in the hobby . They seem to be a specialty live bearers thing that only those in the know are able to acquire .

Well, there are stores which do offer them but for most stores this species will be considered being rare. It's a wild livebearer species that doesn't show that much color. And the color that this species has is considered being dull in comparison to breeding forms of ovoviviparous livebearers. I mention deliberately "ovoviviparous" because thusfar there are no breeding forms of viviparous livebearers (with the exception of Dermogenys pusilla).
