Ok. this is my latest saltwater addiction:

We got 5 swimmers hatched, and 3 eggs to go.
 
I guess the info would help... :p They are baby cuttlefish, dwarf species from the indian ocean. This particular one has the remnants of his yolk sac plastered all over his tentacles :)
 
very nice indeed. Extremly short lived however. I think you should enjoy it for the short space of time you will have it.. 18 months tops i beleive.

they are smaller than peas, right now they are in an empty but established 5 gallon, overskimmed, equivalent of an AC150, temp 79 degrees. They are a dwarf species reaching 4" out of the indian ocean, and will need about 30 gallons. If I can breed em, I will be very very happy, they don't live long, and a constantly replenishing supply would be awesome.


You GOT to see them hunt 'pods, it is hilarious.
