it's a purple one cazzie, so I may have paid the right price then? If it was £6.50 that's fine, I just don't like the thought that I may have been grossly over charged

Hmm I dunno, even purple ones don't sell for that much. Theyre a few quid on eBay. I know independent stores have to make a bit of money but I think a fiver is really the most anyone should pay for an apple snail of any colour!
