I went a bit mad at one lfs and spent £9.50 on plant fertilizer and £6.50 on this ....

AND THEN ...

I drove about 10 miles to another fish store for these that cost me another £6.00!!!

Umm ... I didn't mean to ... honest! I'm not sure my landlord will accept that excuse when I'm coppering up to pay my rent this week but what the hell they're cute

In my last moment of madness, I popped in for some root tabs, and came away with another Bolivian ram, female fighter, six more neons, albino cory, two bits of wood, some Flourish Excel, and a blister pack of bloodworm. Forgot the root tabs.

I only actually went to see if they'd had a plant delivery in the last few days. I'm hanging onto my receipt anyway as the plant delivery was due this afternoon so I'll be going back either tomorrow or Friday. I'll have a look and see if I was over charged.

On another happy note - out of the 10 baby platies I took there only four remain

yeah, I was expecting it to be a couple of quid if I'm honest. Like I said, I'll be going back so I'll check to see if there's a price tag on them when I do

haha, nice. I am horrible with pet related moments of madness. I rearranged my house a couple of weeks ago and ended up with a 15 gal tank + stand + decorations + a few fish... such control. Don't feel bad!

Aren't Apple Snails the same as Mystery Snails? If so mine only cost $2.99 and he's huge!

It depends on the colour. It's a little hard to tell in the picture but it looks like a pink/purple striped?? In which case the price does increase rather a lot - the pinks and purples are worth a lot more. Check out ebay to see what adult striped pinks go for.

Lol at soybean with the root tabs. I gotta say I've not had a moment like that for a while. Last time I bought something I shouldn't it was plants. The fish in my most visited lfs are just not inspiring me at the moment. Probably a good thing though, as this year is proving to be an expensive one so far
