Hey guys, long time no see! Okay so I have a question! It might sound like a really dumb question, but it is really serious no jokes. Okay so I adopted minnows from my friend. But now I realize I really don't want cold water fish anymore. I'd rather just stick to all the bettas I have. Sooo my question is: Is there any place you can put fish up for adoption? I mean seriously! I don't want to cull them, they're perfectly healthy! I just want to stick to 2 tanks. Especially because i'm going on vacate soon and I want it to be easy as possible for the fish sitter. Please don't make a joke out of this topic i'm really serious!

Tons of options! Never cull them - there are the classified section on this site, in the US you have Aquabid, you can list fish one ebay or you could just return them to the a local fish shop for either free or sometimes you can get a little store credit.

There are places.

I frequently see fish up for adoption on gumtree.
I'm not sure but maybe eBay as well.
TFF has a classified section as well. Perhaps someone on here will take them?
Most LFSs will take healthy fish.

:)

i thought minnows were temperate so you could have them in tropical temperatures but the only thing is i think they like higher flow rates that bettas do, but i would have though you could have kept them together.
