it doesnt stop coming

I read that she will not eat when she is going to have fry, well she is eating, could she not be ready to have the fry?

She won't eat while she is having the fry. However, she will eat almost right up until the minute she has them.

And yes, Oppositearmor, boiling will suck the good stuff out, however blanching will not. Though with lettuce, you really don't need to blanch it. Blanching is more for the harder veggies.

ok good, but I am going to go now. If she has her fry later on today I will get back on and tell all of you :D . btw thanks for all the advice today

Yes, please do tell! I am very excited! :D

And you're very welcome! I love helping people (and I'm sure other people do too), so never hesitate to ask questions!

ok i just got back on to ask a quick question. She stopped pooping for about an hour or so, and she is hovering in the breeders net when before she wwam around. Does that mean anything?

my molly did the same thing, she pooped so much I was concerned, and the day before having the fry she spend a lot of time by the floated plants I keep, I guess it could be it  give her a couple of hours or even a day

Hoovering usually means they are getting close. Give her while, make her enviroment as stress-free as possible, make sure there is good wate quality...and you should have fry in a few days, or sooner. :)

she didnt have them last night, but I just have one more question, do mollies have contractions if they do how can I tell if she is having contractions or not?

Not that I have ever been able to tell! They usually just have their fry over a period of time...and wah-la, you are a mommy (or daddy)!

And yes, Snailguy, that's pretty much it. You just have to make sure she doesn't have clamped fins, or any sign of pain or disease...because they can also hoover for those reasons.

so from what I have been telling you, when do you think I will get fry?

Probably within the next week.

Though I am hesitant to say anything, because Livebearers ALWAYS find a way to prove me wrong... :p
