Hi all,
My Juwel 180 tank which is now completely cycled thanks to the media from my old tank (Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0 and Nitrate is 10ppm) I have the juwel filter system and have been advised that the nitrate removal and the carbon sponges are a waste at this stage so have gone out and got myself a coarse blue sponge and some Marina polywool to replace them.
Oh and anyone suggest in what stage i should put the wool in? should it be at the beginning of the filter media, middle or end?
Does this sound ok?
