Incorrect. Male and female bettas can not be housed together. The aggressive male will chase and eventually kill the female betta. They should only be kept together for temporary spawning purposes.

you trying t breed them then
have you got all the jars you'll need when the fry are a few weeks old and need seperating

only asking as you might have to seperate 60+ male bettas

i have everything for this....it costed over $500....
and the male is trying to eat the female
is it normal?

they have not wrapped but i seperated them
i put the female in a tank with my 5 week old guppy and my female swordtail.
is this ok?

YOu may also not get the luck. Females and males will not always take to each other from what I have read and it can be pot luck sometimes, may take more conditioning though and work with a chimney (and patience). Both can be so tempramental, be careful with them with each other and with those other fish..
