1 of my mollies keeps coming out in a milky fluffy covering all over body in patches,it appears flakey and also one eye blows up,its come and gone three four times over two months,ive done a few good courses of esha 2000 but like i say comes and goes,i have 4 mollies 2 platies 2 guppys 10 cardinals few fry!,amm.0,nitrite.0,20,ph 7.5 ish,25.c

Its sounds like popeye and columnaris to me.
It sounds like the med been helping but not completely getting rid of the bacteria infection.
You might need to use furanol 2 by jbl. But only in isolation as it wipes the beneifical bacteria out in the filter.
Does the fish show any of these signs also.
Flicking and rubbing, excess mucas, darting, erratic swimming, laboured breathing or gasping.

Its the rio 180 stats r on first post but,amm 0 nitite 0 nitrate 20 ish,temp 25.c,ph 7.5-8.0,the saffin molly is the only victim others r fine,he does have fast gill movement,eats fine,dont really c poo as i dont feed alot,no flicking,,wilder i now have my clowns in a 350 ltr rio and they r doing great been three weeks ish now and no flicking from them,i think the ammount of meds that went through that tank must have bothered them,or the plant fert under the gravel either way they great now,

What med did you use?
COLUMNARIS<br />The hospital tank should be heated to approx. 74 degrees. 76 and above is the ideal breeding temperature for columnaris. Though there is some dispute over lowering the temperature, my experience has been that 72 is too low for the medication to work rapidly, 76+ causes the disease to breed more rapidly than the anti-biotic can kill, and 74 is "just right." Well i noticed the cardinal prob yesterday so cant say if it started as fungus,but when i saw it it was half the size it should have been,all the white bit had rotted and half the red bit so looked very thin,blue couler was still vivid though it looked distressed wasent eating or swimming with others,thats all i can say really,ive been using esha 2000 regually over last month.
Esha 2000 won't touch a bad strain of bacteria,
All you can do now is try the faranol 2, or ask a vet to percribe some antibiotics.

So you think ive got to take action,it wont go away? all the fish seem fine apart from the mollie who looks clean now but i know that fluffy white stuff will be back,i can only find furanol 2 on amazon for £20,its tablets aint it,have u used furanol 2 wilder?
I used furanol. But the furanol 2 is a fairly new med by jbl. They have altered the ingredients I think.
Jbl meds are quite good. Better than interpet meds and others you buy at the lfs.
Not many lfs sell jbl meds. You have to buy them online.
You need a stronger internal bacteria med to kill off the bacteria.
