Is This Cat Litter Ok For My Tank

i went my lfs and eco conmplete for was 15 quid a bag


so truckasaurus (excuse the spelling) told me to use this cat liitter

so i went to get some and it was 4.95 a 5l bag wich is still good and ill be saving money but under it there was all natural clay cat litter which said 100% clay on the side for 1.24 for a 5 l bag so i got two bags

it sais its 100% clay so will it be ok

im putting a pic of my tank up tonight and in their are 6 hyphessobrycon amandae, theyre pretty sensitive fish and ive had no problems whatsoever.

if it says 100% clay nothing else is in it

you dont need an inch, you want about a cm capped by about 1.5-2 inches off sand, if it comes into contact with the water it will cloud. my cat litter came in a brown bag with either a green, blue or purple trim

so when ime planting plants wont the water swirl into the cat litter and wont the water go through the sand into the cat litter also should i wash it

no dont wash it...plant with tweezers, plant each plant individually. and use tweezers to get the roots into the sand

ok s i got a bag of toys r us play sand so all i need to do is put a cm of cat litter and then 2 inches of normal sand (going with two inches of sand to be safe) and then its ok so i dont wash the sand or nothing awsome

also wont the water get to the cat litter through the sand if not wont theplants roots be in dry clay and kill them

2 inches would be overkill kid truck only said 1.5-2cm that's not even one inch

dont make it even...have a varying depths and try and have a mound at a third of the way across the tank with it getting deeper towards the tank.

no im not having it even i mean at shallowest it will be like 1.5-2 inch and its gonne be higher at the at the back and a bit higher than that in the right corner
