Lmao if I remember correctly they are seasonal fish. When people get them in they're usually of limited quantity and go anywhere from 130 to over 200. Most people end up getting rid of them at about 5 feet.
Btw, they do get over 13 feet, not the 10 just mentioned.
They get past 10 feet, though none have been fished out of the amazon past 11-12 feet in years due to overfishing. You are considered pretty lucky ot fish one out past 8 feet.
The chances of seeing one near its actual full potential of 15 feet or so are pretty much zilch now.
they wouldnt eat humans as in one incident a man's arm got "sucked" by one and let go as he didnt like the taste and the man had no injuries apart from shock he also said that the suction was extremely powerful as they dont really have any teeth
