I decided to give my tank a thorough clean earlier and syphoned about 40% of the water out and wiped off all algae etc.whilst syphoning the poo etc from the sand i accidently sucked up one of my 2 ghost shrimp well he was stuck at the bottom of the pipe so i quickly stopped the syphon and the shrimp dropped down well his skin anyway. so i thought he was a goner so i sucked the skin up the syphon a counted my losses and when i check next there was 2 shrimp again. now i know people will say maybe he shed his skin before hand but im 99% sure the skin wasnt there before i started syphoning. surely he couldnt of shed his skin whilst i sucked him up the tube. WEIRD OR WHAT

It does sound like you sucked up his skin without seeing where he was hiding in the tank. But at least it's good news!
