Just about to do the weekly water change on the 60 and 71 litre Tanks. Albert (eliotti) and the rest of his brood (71 litre) are still doing fine. However Albert has dug a huge pit, god knows what for as he has no mate. I feel this could start of him attacking the young, I have seen him dart at them. Well the thinking was to move him to the 60 litre on his own (For a bit) and move the 5 juvi kribs (far too small to any harm to the juvi elliotti and the two dwarf gourami's to the 71 litre. Will this work for the short term. Hopeing for a female from the kribs to match up with my exsisting male who is in the 4ft and some females from the eliotti for Albert and Henry. What do you guy's think. I'm standing here with syphon and Bucket ready. :unsure:

I would worry about the gourami picking off the smallest of the ellioti fry. The kribs should be fine with the fry though. Try the DG's in your big tank.

Hi Mate, My big concern about putting the DG's in the 4ft is the Grand Dam's They killed the last female DG I put in there. I don't think they will have the eliotti, as they are just too big for them to eat now. and too dam quick. :lol:

60 litre done, have moved Alberts favorite piece of wood in, Plants next. I'm moving one of the coconut caves from the 4ft into the 71 litre there is also a terracota tube already in the 71 litre, so will add to hiding area's as well as the plants. As usual I will be keeping a beady on on the lot. I think the kribs will benefit from the larger enviroment. They still seem so small compared to the big brute of mine in the 4ft.
