Is there something wrong

Hi there,

One of my mollies has a strange trait of liking to literally lie on the substrate or on a decoration for a while then all of a sudden just gets up and acts completely normal and swims about etc. Also his fin is a very odd Shape and seems overgrown or something (as in the pic) is this normal or is something wrong. I actually got given this fish and he's always done it so not sure of its a problem or not.

My mollies did that and you seem to have a lyretail molly which has fins that are longer so the fins should be fine. My mollies were perfectly fine and they did that time to time. I ended up using them as feeders anyways
