his bottom lip is red and puffy....
please let me know asap.

looks slightly over fed
the bottom lip does look inflamed

whats your water stats if you could post the exact results and also answer the other questions hun might help us to know whats going on

ammonia,nitrites,nitrates and ph

tank temp?
ere any stressing factors - close proximity to other fish - any nipping ?

Is the tank heated and flitered ?- is the filter cycled ?, when was the tank set up?

when did you add him to the tank?
i'm sure you could answer if the tank is cycled hun , what the temp is etc
when you did last water change

try and answer what you can its really important also how often you feed him ?

the tank was cycled for a week.
he's eating amazingly, doesnt leave anything behind....lol

that means the tank isnt cycled hun
its the filter that cycles not the water

you need to be change 80% of the water right away - adding safe water back into the tank - dechlorinated or suitable RO/well/rain water

Has the tank got a filter if not then daily water changes of 50% are neccessary to keep betta safe and well
Have you got the female in the tank still in the chimney if so - remove her you cannot breed a fish when he is poorly

If you only have 2 females living together they will fight they need groups of 4+

wait, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????? i said nothing about my FEMALE (singular).

okay ..... let me try this again....
anybody know whats wrong with my betta's LIP!!!

well, no heater yet....but im getting one... i do water changes everyday.....

well aslong as you do 50% water changes a day then he should be ok but it would be alot better if you could get a cheap 5g tank of ebay or somwhere with a fillter and im sure he would be alot happyer.

well, i would but im kind of moving soon and when i move im gonna get a 75g with a filter and everything
