Is There Something Wrong With My Siamese Fighter?

hi, my siamese fighter had a odd looking thing hanging from him today it was pink like poo from pink flake eating fish but was curly and looked like intestines or liver shape...? when he ate (i feed flakes not betta balls or whatever) little bits of food would leave the back or top of his gills as well as bubbles , any help appreciated thanks

Tropical flakes that have the pink colored ones in them will color poop pink. Happens frequently with all my fish (swordtails and a hoplo).
The crumbs falling through gills are normal, some fish cannot swallow the whole flake so they will slip some of it through their gills. Most noticeable when I feed them boiled egg yolk, my swordies spread it like a powder through their gills.
