Is There Anything That Could Be Killing Danios But Nothing Else?

just wondered if there was a disease that killed those fish only and not anything else, or do i just have a bad bunch?


the only fish that have died in my tank are these. about 5 over the past few months, all same symptoms. starts with them slowing down, moving to the filter area, hovering there for a few days, sinking lower by the day, before finally settling on the bottom then dying.
could it be old age (maybe they were old stock in the shop???) no visible signs of infection/parasites etc, all other fish fine. bizarre.

did you notice any bent spines? I have lost a few danio's to which I suspected was fish TB (not other symptoms apart from the bent spines in my case)

no bent spines, they just went very thin then croaked it

very thin could mean internal parasites...i lost a bunch of mine one time but i think it was due to water quality (i was a noob)

velvet is also something danios get...any white fuzzies around the belly??

what are your stats...stock...tank size? water change schedule?
