Is There A Cure For Fish Tank Tinkering Addiction ?

hey guys i cant sleep and came down to look at my tank and i was wondering .. am i ok to sweep a little gravel over my bio orb filter because its exposed and unsightly, will this harm my bacs?

my fish have been sucking them up and spitting them out all over the place the little devils, and now it needs covering again. lol

only asking cos its newly cycled lol

The gravel in a tank like that is the filter. You definitely want to maintain the gravel a constant thickness over it. If you are keeping fish that move the gravel around, you need to get a different kind of filter so that they don't destroy your filtration.
