Is Pond Dechlorinator The Same As Any Other Dechlorinator?

As the title says - I'm getting through lots of bottles of dechlorinator in a month, even when buying the 500ml bottles. I wondered whether pond dechlorinator is the same thing and can be used when doing water changes in my tropical aquariums?

I can't see an obvious difference, both remove chlorine, chloramine and neutralise heavy metals - just wanted to check it would be safe though.

Pond dechlorinator is exactly the same, and is fine to use in an aquarium.

The only difference is the pond dechlorinator is more concentrated so a little goes a long way which saves me loads of money as I have 6 tanks.

I'm with these guy's. Some-one from here told me about Pond de-chlor and I haven't looked back. Has saved me a small fortune.

i always use pond dechlorinator, saves me loads of money with the water changes on 1000 litres! have some quite sensitive fish also like the rays etc and everything is perfect. i use the tetra pond aqua safe one and is good stuff.

the large square pond filter they are huge and i use it as filter wool in my filters, as packing materials as its very warm i brought one a few years ago it was about £10 and ive still got some left. With filter sponges just look the mess size, di
