Thanks WD but just realised aswell i have put Fluval clearmax substrate in my filter which traps nitrite & nitrate so this aswell as the plants could explain my zero readings.
Just thinking WD would the Clearmax substrate be benificial to my tank at this stage or would it hinder the bacterial growth as i would need nitrate & nitrite???
