Is My Swordtail Ready To Birth?

my swordtail has a gravid spot with eyespots, but not very fat and she is not hiding, she has the little white ball thing on her butt and her gravid spot is pretty dark so i have no idea

Hmm, I'm not sure, I also have a swordtail (Pineapple Sword) that is pregnant, mine is pretty big and is hiding alot, especially near the heater, the male sword keeps following her but more like guarding her, he's not harassing her at all. I think it's kinda wierd.... She does not have that white tube thing though yet, so I'm in the same boat as you... I wish I knew but I heard when they are hiding alot, they are ready to give birth... Not sure if it's true or not though.. Anyways, good luck!
