Is My Swordtail Pregnant Or Sick?

My swordtail is just barely able to swim and she has a large gravid spot. At the moment i was unable to get a photo so all i can do is describe it, but she is fat has a gravid spot and has been lying on a amazonian sword leaf for around a hour now. What do you think it is?
